Playroom Renovations

Through a generous grant from the Coughlan Family Foundation we have been able to completely renovate 2 Playrooms in Shelters in the Durham Region / Kawarthas.  These spaces are "Safe Spaces for Play" that include sensory items, inspiration areas, and entertainment. It is a place for kids to learn, create, express, and have fun! These rooms are a significant part of healing from trauma and an integral part of preventing kids from wanting to leave the shelter.
